WebJan 29, 2016 · 489 Posts. #2 · Jan 19, 2016. i don't fit your demographic since i don't own an SRT, but my opinion of the mid muffler delete on a 392 is that it sounds as cheap as it is. the sound gets sloppy, metallic, and raspy. i think a rear resonator delete is a cleaner way to get a meaner louder sound for very little money. My R/T has a 2.5" exhaust (GP25011). I don't have the resonator kit but I do have the Blastin Bob's Magnaflow 12" glasspack as a resonator replacement for the OEM resonator.
